my son started at nursery just before christmas and today the nursery said they though he had a food allergy or some other kind of allergy.

my son had reflux as a baby and was throwing up around half of every feed until he was around 6 months old, we were given gaviscon by the docotor which didnt really help. the doctor we saw told us that since he was putting on wieght it wasnt a problem.

He is 25 months and still in nappies, he has around 2 or 3 poos a day which are often very runny. I didnt realise they were abnormal until the woman at nursery mentioned it although he does do alot more poos than his older sister (she was potty training by this age so i cant directly compare!)

He also has serious problems with nappy rash and bleeding skin on his bottom, I took him to the doctor and he told me to put e45 on it. The nursery keyworker told me that her son had excma and the rash he gets looks ALOT like that and normal nappy rash would appear behind his knees etc and advised me to see a different doctor.

My son has also had problems with his mouth - he gets very dry skin around his mouth and finally has had chest problems in the past which have meant he has had to be in hospital having a nebulizer etc,

I have tried keeping an eye on what he eats but i cant see any pattern at all to the poos because they are ALWAYS like that not just on and off

I have been to the doctor as i say but the nursery woman said that she strongly suggested a second opinion.

does it sounds like a problem and should i try ro see a different doctor?

thanks I have decided to see a different doctor next week, I have suspected there was something not right for a long time but the doctor kept dismissing it so i just thought I was being too picky
