6yr old having really bad dreams......

Hi. My DD is having really bad dreams about a man who keeps coming into the house and wants to take her, then she gets up (in the dream) and tries to look for him but he is hiding around the house. Tonight she got upset because she said last night she heard knocking on her bedroom window, I told her not to be silly and no one can get to her window as there is a really old glass conservatory underneath her window. Tonight she also said that what if her 2 best friends from school come and knock on the window? I explained that they wouldnt walk 15 miles in the dark etc etc.

This is freaking me out abit as I am on my own all week and she is beginning to scare me abit. She doesnt want to sleep in with me. She said she has seen the man in her dreams walking around our town.

I sat down tonight with her and had a good chat but not much came out. I asked her if the 2 friends from school have said anything about a man or having bad dreams, she said no. One home friend is having similar dreams her mum was telling me but Dd said the child hasnt said anything about it.

I was worried because when she was about 2 she kept seeing a 'lady' in her room, this went on for months and we had to change her to a different room. We live in an old house and DD2 is now in that room and so far nothing has been mentioned about a lady.
