"My daughter never had a nappy rash whilst she was wearing a nappy. I always washed her bottom with baby soap and water and applied vaseline - nappy rash free and a supper soft bum"

Hmmmm... my children have never had nappy rash either and I have rather a lax approach to nappies. I'm not too hot on remembering to change them, and I regularly whip off a wee nappy and put the clean one on without wiping or washing. I am very lucky that my children aren't prone is my guess.

And what exactly IS a "supper" soft bum?

CandleQueen · 12/01/2009 09:06

I don't think I want my baby to have a supper soft bum...

DD's had nappy rash a fair few times since weaning, but that's because she reacts to some foods. I certainly never used a preventative measure, I'm much too lax to remember that!

and there was me. religiously changing after every tinkle being a nutter control freak about nappy free time, what cream to use on which bit and y'know what DD1 - no nappy rash. DD2 plagued with it.

yes - luck i beleive not soap vaseline or judgement.

Yes it is a bit smug. My ds's never had nappy rash or supper soft bums. Beat that.

Actually ds2 has nappy rash. Bad mummy.
