Anyone having problems with Modern Baby Pop-Ins??

I bought a couple of these the other week and thought they were fab. Having used a whole range of pockets and 2-part nappies on DD, I know my cloth nappies!
I decided to try something diff on DS (now 5 months) and thought these PopIns worked brilliantly, but now they leak and often soak the entire outer part
I emailed Modern Baby to ask if I was doing something wrong and ask for advice and disappointingly have heard nothing back in over a week
I'd even heard that there was a problem with some that were manufactured in March and as I have a couple of secondhand ones in the y collection, wondered if these may have been some of the ones from the problem batch?!
I'd love to know if anyone has any good advice/ suggestions.
Also, did anyone sign up for one of the 1000 free nappies they were giving away. If so - has anyone received theirs? I think if they have reached the 1000 quota, they need to remove the offer banner from the site as it's very misleading allowing people to register with them and not actually have the product still available. Several of my friends registered and none of us have heard anything from them. I'm not impressed...

Ah now we had a topic about this before, where boys were getting soaked, it may be due to the flap on the front of the nappy, it's waterproof and somehow boys can pee onto it and the wet gets redirected all over them instead of staying in the nappy! I shall find the thread, but Essie is the lady who you need to talk to about Pop-Ins, she's a Pop-In Princess but has also had this problem.

Think I will contact them again as aside from the annoying leaks - yet another pretty soaked outer shell - I want to know who, if anyone, is going to get their free nappy.
