are sandys' toddlerease about the biggest?

ds has grown out of nappies again... tbf they were the MEOS he'd grown out of before but i squeezed him back into when he got a bit longer and thinner last year but they're on the last popper on each side now and leaving marks... not to mention unpoppering themselves with rather unpleasant results

he's 2 and a half and weighs about 15kgs, he's not got a clue about potty training at all yet so we have no choice but to buy some more nappies really as he could be in them for a year or more if he's like plenty of other boys i know.

he needs poppered ones as i hate velcro and we've had incidents with nippas coming loose and impaling his poor balls so not keen on them either.

he won't lie down for changes anymore either so has to be something reasonably easy to get on him standing up.

what about tots size 3?

they are quite big

OR MEbedweeters but they are quite expensive and would take forever to dry!

large quick flips and wraps from here there are some in the specials page on sale. 22 inch rise, 27 inch max waist. You can choose to add aplix too. I hear rebs wraps are good in XXL if you can get hold of one. Could always fall back on minki nappies? Or how about trying a wool cover? Do tots still do the size 3s?

For my eldest son I was able to purchase nappy extenders for the motherease one size, this was about 7yrs ago so not sure if they still do them. They were my lifeline to keeping him in washable nappies at the time.

Definitely get some extenders - google extenders for motherease nappies and I'm sure you'll find some, several suppliers stock them, and use any boosters outside the nappy between the nappy and wrap - I found you could assemble the whole thing and do up one side of the nappy and wrap and pull on when standing so it's only one side to do up. Also take advantage of him not wanting a nappy change and ask him if he'd like to use the potty next time he kicks off about nappy change, and say if he can get his wees and poos in the potty then he won't need to wear nappies.

good luck

Not sure that Tots Bots Size 3 are on the market anymore. I'd put my money on Sandy's Toddlerease.

i too had a humungous baby -shes now 7 and just as big bless her -in 10/11 year old clothes when i used cloth nappies at the age your lad is i used the fab minki nappies. The minki yoyos are brilliant for potty training, night time use and for bubs who dont do lying down!

they are a bit more expensive than some other nappies but great quality and designs. you can stuff them with anything too - i used prefolds, microfibre cloths and for night time a whole terry - yep she did look huge in that

here is a link to the site and the yoyos. Michaela who makes these is lovely and very reliable.hope this helps
