I can't parent properly without knowing if mooncups can resolve this particular problem I have....

Since big headed and big everything DS was born (DC2), tampons just don't seem to stop the flow . It's not that my flow is heavy, I seem to have changed size shape. I have tried lilets and tampax and to no avail. I still need a pad too.

Are there any mooncup users who had the same problem with tampons before they switched and declare them to be THE answer??

Yes. Four large babies later - I can't remember which one caused my fanny to morph but one of them is guilty .

Mooncup a lot better in that respect.

Yep, tampons used to just absorb down one side so I would leak even when my flow was really light. Have had no leaks with mooncup.

Never helped me. Both tampons and mooncup leak like buggery. Have never managed to use mooncup without some leakage but I think it's worth trying - people's experiences are very different.

Oooh looking good so far!

btw - does it pop out if you end up 'bearing down' a bit too much while doing a #2?

Thankyou-I find it does come almost all the way down if I strain a lot but it has never popped out, just the bottom of it comes down too far to be comfortable iyswim

Moon cup is usefull for me at each end of a period, but some middling days I get leaks around it, and on heavy days it just anit enough. Maxi tampons cope better.
