I've just ordered my set books for my OU course which I'm starting next month EEEK.

I'm suddenly very scared, especially as after I'd registered to do the course I found out I would have to move...........and guess when I'll almost certainly be moving - yes you guessed it next month!!!

I'm suddenly rather ermm pissing my pants nervous about it all, studying, moving at the start of the course, and looking at the DS's, plus my church stuff.

SHIT

oh I hope so, I haven't written anything comprehensible since I was at school (just a lot of old waffle on forums like this ), and the thought that I could potentially be moving 3 days after my course officially starts is terrifying.

I'm now starting to panic how I'm going to fit it all in, DS3 won't let me do anything during the day, so it's all going to be done in the evenings/the weekends exH has them, but omg when will I do my housework (again atm the moment most of it is done in the evenings as a toddler + tidying up doesn't really sit well together.

COngrats - that's great- well done you ! I started doing a course with the OU 2 years ago, and gave up work a year ago (i.e. fully took the plunge) and now doing a f/t Msc. Love it. Learning when you are older really is under-rated.

Writing your first essay is hilarious - the comments on my first OU essay were appallingly bad. But only served to inspire me to get better !

Don't worry too much about it - you'll find you quickly become addicted to studying. I graduated in April last year from the OU and I'm now doing my MSc through them as well. What course are you doing?
