My 3 1/2 year old daughter has started showing an interest in the difference between boys and girls (no real questions about sex?yet!). I?ve been looking for books with good pictures in to show her and teacher the proper words for different body parts etc but can?t seem to find any. (She already knows all about breast-feeding as she has a younger sister, but me and DH aren?t relishing the prospect of being life models for other chats! ) The ?my body? books I?ve found are either too modest (everyone in swimming costumes etc) or a bit too complicated for her to understand (showing internal organs etc).
Has anyone used any good books with their children? I?ve seen ?Mummy laid and egg? but I?m not sure if I?m brave enough for that one yet or whether that might be a bit TMI for her at the moment J
