Is this teething?

My ds has had a really red bottom since this morning-it came very suddenly-he has never had any nappy rash or anything before (he's 15 weeks) and he screams in pain when we wipe him when changing nappy. He's been dribbling like mad for a few weeks, and feeding has been ram=ndom for last few days - could this be teething? If not, is there any other cause for the redness, and what can we do about it? (have been using sudocrem since we noticed it)

Thanks

Is almost certainly teething if he has no temperature. Try Metanium if you can find it, thick yellow cream but very good. Don't be surprised if it's still weeks before you see any teeth though. Calgel on his gums may help with the pain and of course if he is in alot of pain then some calpol won't do him any harm.

Bepanthem is another good one for sore bums if the sudocrem doesn't work.
