Just been told by hub that his sis and family are dropping in tomorrow about 1pm and we are feeding them.

I cant go to "big supermarket" tomorrow so what can I do other than sandwiches etc...

what have you got in?

mazzystartled · 02/01/2009 22:15

have you got pasta?

big bowl of carbonara [even corner shops seem to manage cream and bacon], garlic bread and salad

I would suggest going out for Lunch as it is such late notice, but then I prefer eating out in general as i am lazy

quiche, bread, ham, salad (several different ones) basic but ok for a last minute drop in - or...

takeaway pizza?

French bread pizzas - though they are hot but you can prepare them in advance and bung them in at ten minutes notice.

Or pancakes filled with soft cheese/ham/jam/chocolate. Just make a stack and people can fill them with whatever they like.

Think I'll do an array of sandwiches, warm quiche etc...
