Leaking Bambino Mio Nappies

We got the Bambino Mio nappies to use with DS2(3 weeks) but they seem to leak alot. He is changed everytime he wakes up for a feed. He is sleeping for around 6 hours a night and when we get up he is always soaking. I don't want to be waking him up in the middle of the night.

Is there anything we can do to stop them leaking? We make sure that the nappy is properly folded and inside the outer and they were all prewashed.

Get a Nappi Nippa to secure the wrap on to your baby - lay the wrap out open in front of you with the front of it nearest you, place the nappy on top flat with the tram lines running towards you, then fold up about 1/4 or 1/3 or so at the front (so the bit left on the wrap is about the same length as the wrap. Then fold the nappy into 3 by folding in along the tramlines, and tuck one side of the folded up bit into the other at the front to make a pad. Then open up and fan the back of the nappy out, leaving it still held together by the pad you made at the front. Then pop your baby on top, bring the pad up between his legs, and the back corners round his waist and secure onto the pad at the front with the Nappi Nippa (hold it on where you want it to go with one hand, stretch left and right tabs as far as you can and dig the prongs into the fabric, then pull the centre tab down so it makes a Y shape and that'll secure it on nicely)
You'll then find that you'll hardly get any leaks out of the nappy onto the wrap. However if the whole thing is soidden you may need to add a booster - any cotton will do eg cut up strips from an old towel and add between nappy & wrap.
Also check the wrap fits - if it's loose and you can see loads of nappy inside the leg holes that could also be why it's leaking
