my ds (7) loves this programme, but I can't find anywhere that gives me any guidance about the target age group for this station, does anyone know? Is this inappropriate for a 7 year old? I can't really tell myself from watching it, it seems a little old for him.
He also loves Genie in the house, is Nickelodeon for children over 10? over 8? I'd love some guidance.

just watched some of it ,it a childrens sitcom with teenage boys in ,perfectly harmless but one of those you imagine are for 10 yr olds but they watch it younger.
a bit like sister sister and kenan and kal used to be anyone remember those?

ipanemagirl · 02/01/2009 10:57

no I don't remember those but I cannot see the attraction of Drake and Josh, it's so bad. He admitted that there was some kissing going on but that he didn't mind that!

My DS is 7 and has been watching Nickelodeon for about a year now. He loves Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 and iCarly. I actually prefer that sort of programming to the violent cartoons that can be the programming aimed that boys of that age.

There is kissing. Drake has a habit of meeting a girl and just kissing her but it is comedy and I think that comes across.

I am fairly relaxed about TV though.

Oh - the other thing I like is that these are programmes I will actually sit down and watch with him unlike some of the violent fighty stuff that is on.
