Anyone else think the second hand nappy market may be saturated? No pun intended....

Am trying to sell my totsbots, only on here so far, but no luck. Have looked at clothnappytree and another website, and there seem to be loads and loads of tots about, no offers being made.

So, is there a feeling that selling on is getting harder? Or am I just not trying hard enough?

Maybe it's the time of year? If I were you I'd try again at the beginning of February.

It's possible that there have been lots of cheap Tots Bots about recently (both on Amazon.co.uk & at TKMaxx) so maybe they're not exactly a hot item at the moment. I know the prices some people got them at new was only a bit more than half of the often going prices for secondhand ones! ....... Having said that, some people do like to buy some of the older Tots Bots...like me - I only like the older Fluffles (really dislike the feel of the new ones), so let me know if anyone has a few older/short pile size 1 Fluffles.

Mmm, sorry, these are bamboozles. Will try the free magazine locally, and nct sale too. Am under pressure to shift them as I bought more nappies before selling these, to my DH disgust.

ahhh well, buying and selling on here is a bit pointless now IMO.
doesn't come in active convo's so you don't get the people who think "ooh, i could do with that"
and if you can't afford CAT payment you can't use it either.
I have cat, but I never remmeber to check buying and selling when I need things.

lollipopmother · 31/12/2008 23:37

I agree, I'm never going to pay for CAT just to sell nappies on here when there are so many other places that do it for free. I also find that Used Nappies is a place to pick up real bargains because no one ever seems to bid against eachother, I'd never sell on there.

sorry to hijack post- I have an older/short pile fluffle - only want £3 or so for it posted- it is size 2 though- it is a nippa style an can be folded down easily and hence used as a BTP nappy. Let me know if interested- [email protected]

thebluefoxategreensocks · 01/01/2009 12:16

Thanks for the offer, but I have about 10 size 2 ones which I use for my 21mo son, so was hoping to find some small ones for bump due in April. Thanks though! xx
