Advice on cloth vs disposable nappies

I was tempted to use cloth nappies with 2nd son but opted for disposables. I've just discovered that child no 3 is on the way. Would it be wise to switch to cloth nappies now with 11month yr old and then use them twice when baby comes? Is it financially a better option? Also are cloth nappies really hard work?

I have used cloth on three boys and work in the nappy world - I would recommend a borth to potty system tbh - bumgenius, onelife or modern baby pop in. I would personally contact a local Lollipop advisor through the teamlollipop website - or ask flamesparrow - she knows her stuff!

I have used nearly every nappy out there and use fuzzis most of the time - have just got a blueberry which is lush!

Has anyone tried gnappies?

They are gdiapers in the states and only arrived over here late last year.

They have a cloth or a biodegradeable option so have completely green credentials - and loads of funky colours!
:)
