I can only speak from my own experience with dd who had similar symptoms and it turned out (much) later that she had silent reflux and was in constant pain with heartburn. Does she arch her back? If so, go straight back to HV or GP and demand an antacid such as peptac - it may ease the colic.
Are you BF? Cutting out dairy from your diet may help but not immediately.
If you think it is reflux, this site and this one are pretty helpful.

thank you im bottle feeding - yes she kinda goes from curling up into a ball to what seems like making herself rigid to get away, its so horrible she has a look of fear on her face and she panics
as for he dairy thing my dd2 has a problem with constipation and has suffered since she turned one, she is now 20 months old and still suffers has daily lactolose to help it but thy thought that was a dairy thing but when taking her off it , it eased but not dramatically could this all be connected do u think

Which milk are you using?

Which teat flow?

How are baby's nappies?

thats the thing i was using slow flow - then the gaviscon made it too thick to come through so went up to sie 2 , im using cow nd gate due to the fact that sma gold was too rich for my other three

babies nappies are well always yellow, range from watery to clay-like - and very very often

could this be tummy bug aswell as colic ??
all four kids have flu but not tummy bugs but it was a thought that crossed my mind

It could be, Dh has a horrid changable cold and has felt sick several times, 1 minute horrid cough then other times very irritated nose.

lilLAURAand4poorlykids · 27/12/2008 17:12

mmm that might explain it the ds has just had a bad experience on toilet so thinking we have a bug in the home
baby sneeed blood so its looking that way
thank you for advice

good news - had a bad wingy evening from her which isnt abnormal due to colic but the baby swing settled her quickly, she had feed at 8pm which she brought straight back up , then another a 5am she took all 5 oz and DIDNT vomit yippee and just had another all 5oz again and no vomit she is sound asleep in swing (and best of all i got sleep so feel a bit like me again)

thanks for all the advice
