La Marelle ("hopscotch" in French) is a voluntary association run by a group of French teachers and mothers based in the Dartford area. In cooperation with the French Embassy's "Plan Ecoles", we are setting up a Saturday morning school for local French-speaking children, on the lines of
existing schools in London and Maidstone. (planecoleroyaumeuni.blogspot.com/).

The purpose of this plan is to double the number of bilingual French-English classes in British schools within 5 years, and the creation of French Saturday morning schools throughout the United-Kingdom is a first step in this direction.

La Marelle will help these children, aged between 3 and 12, develop their existing skills and knowledge of the French language and culture.
Enrol now for a start in April 2009.
