Dh opens a medical bill and says,
"£3543. Not too bad!"
Dd, horrified, cries,
"I don't understand you grownups! You grumble if you have to spend £10 on something but think £3000 is no big deal!"

they are quick off the mark aren't they. We have been having some issues with ds with violence and he said very sullenly today (I am 21wks pregnant) The baby kicks you all the time and doesn't get in any trouble!

I should add that, living in Switzerland, we have private medical coverage so the bill will be paid by the insurers, not by us. AND it was for the week dd spent in hospital where she had 2 EEGs (including an all-nighter) and and MRI...

I guess a joke isn't a joke if you have to explain it. Oh well.
