if this were you, what would you do ?

have been stuck in for a week with ill ds2 . today hes much better and would probably be ok for school tomorrow.

today and tomorrow will be the school xmas concert, so, obviously ds hasnt had chance to practise for it. he doesnt want to do the concert and i am also now ill (well, had chronic sinusitis anyway and now his germs on top)

would you still send to school ?

I would probably jolly him along and send him in. Just say "Do your best" for the concert. It won't be all day and there will be lots of other fun things happening in school this week. It's the Christmas holidays soon and he will need to keep his hand in with all his basic skills if they are not to slip over the break (am presuming he is 5 or 6) They teach phonics at one hell of a rate.

I'd keep him at home, unless you think he will have loads of energy and will tire you out.
