Hi , I just found out I failed my level 2 course. Quite gutted, as I found out I was pregnant(thats good though lol) 10 weeks before the exam and had extreme morning sickness, and like most mums I got on with it, never went to doctors etc as I knew it would pass, and it did, last week. But as a result I never really studied and despite good essay scores I still failed. Resits are in june 2 weeks after I am due to give birth and as its 70 mile drive to exam hall and I will be breastfeeding I cant do the resit! so am feeling quite gutted and annoyed with myself. Has anyone else failed? if so what did you do?

Hi Nelix,

I think with a note from the docs rather than failing you you can defer the exam and take it on another date, allowing you to continue the course instead of redoing the same level course again.

I deferred an exam due to my daughter having a competition and it wasnt a prob, they must allow people to have babies

I have never failed, but I did once have an exam on the day after one of my DCs was due. They let me do the exam a month later, and sent an invigilator to my house so I could have breaks to breastfeed. Give them a ring, they are very helpful.

Hi, sorry to here, but if you are brestfeeding they will let you sit your exam at home, i had an invigilator for my exam, the week befor she had invigilated for a brestfeeding mum, she just had to have someone eles their to look after the baby and bring DC in for feeds
