DS 2yr3mth seems ready for potty training so what do i do??

He gets really excited when he wee's on the potty and every time his trousers/nappy are off he squeezes one out! Trouble is I don't know how best to progress with this potty training. Leave nappy off when in? Buy pull ups? What about once you have started potty training - can you mix and match with pants/nappies as best suits you? Aaaaagh - help needed!

If he's genuinley ready i think it's best to go for just pants to start off with as mixing them with pull ups/nappies is so confusing. I started my ds at end of oct as turned 3 and he's pretty much dry now so am now able to use pull ups if on long journeys etc because he knows he should wee on toilet. I've found potette plus invaluable too. Good luck

We had great success with mixing nappies and undies -- just listen to your child and if he says he needs to wee, take him to wee! Do what YOU and your DS are comfortable with.
