What do you love most about your child? And what do you dislike (or hate) most?

Hi, I was lying in bed last night thinking of things I love about my 4-month old boy... and other things I... hhhmmm, lets just say, like less

So: what I love most about him:

--his wide grins
--his babbling/gurgling in the mornings. He loves listening to his voice in the early morning!
--his laughter when I sing 'eensy weensy spider' to him
--his little chubby cheeks
--his unruly hair!

What I dislike most about him (or like less, to be more PC!)
--his dependence on his dummy which means sleepless nights for me & DP...
--the fact that he wriggles wriggles wriggles when I change him! (although now that I think of it, that's quite funny too, so I don't really dislike it)

Anyone else?

Or maybe sleepless nights are causing me to imagine strange threads to post in the morning...

Or maybe I should have written- what do you like most or dislike most about parenting your child?

What I love most about him

The way he kisses my head when I put him to bed
His funny little voice
When he blows kisses to me when I drop him off at nursery
The way he knows more about cars than I do
His lovely sociable nature

What I like less

Picking him up from nursery. He is always really grumpy if we don't have any playdates arranged
The way it takes him so long to get to sleep at night
When his boisterous nature leads to things getting broken

You are not meant to dislike anything about parenting or your child you know?

You should be the perfect mummy at all times and enjoy listening to "I caaaaaaaaaaaan't do iiiiiiiiiiiiit muuuuuuuuummmmmmy" in that whine they like to do

You should enjoy being woken at 4am because teh baby has decided its playtime.

By the way, I should add to my dislike list something which is also on my like list: his funny / cute / happy gurgling sounds in the morning. They are wonderful, but invariably occur around 5 am
