My ds1 is 3 and we've been trying potty train ing for a while. He is very reliable at home as will just go to his potty and use it when he needs to. Has once used a toilet when out with me but otherwise refuses to. Has very good control as we can go out all morning and even if he is showing signs ( up on tiptoe dancing arouind!) that he needs to go will quite happily wait till we get home. Also gets very distressed when at grandparents or nursery (when im not there)ans needs to go to the point where he doesnt want to go anywhere without me Because of this i have started to put him back in training pullups when he is at nursery or going to grandparents. This has at least made him calm about going to these places. I have tried taking the potty we use at home to all these places but he just flatly refuses it and gets hysterical. Sorry for the long post but has anyone else been in the same position and if so any advice!
