Hungarian/English families in NW UK or Budapest?

Hi,

We live in NW UK. I'm English but can understand lots of spoken Hungarian. I only speak English to DCs but interact using English when DH is speaking Hungarian (as I can understand what is being said). DH is Hungarian and absolutely proficient in English. DH speaks only Hungarian to DCs at home.

DS, 3.0, speaks almost exclusively in English but uses some isolated Hungarian words. Appears to understand approx. 80 per cent of Hungarian spoken to him by DH but almost always replies in English. Dd is 11 months old.

Ir would be great to meet up with families in similar situations in the hope of exposing DCs to more Hungarian. We visit Hungary a lot, use skype with Hungarians, read books, watch DVDs etc., just want them to have the best chance possible of being fully bilingual.

If you are in Budapest then am always keen to meet up with blingual families there too. We do visit about 4 times a year.

Thanks
