With Dd1 I had a brilliant Mamas & Papas pram (can't get them anymore) which was a large carrycot on top of a folding chassis. The carrycot was semi-rigid and had a winding mechanism which sort of wound up the plastic base so that the baby could go from lying down to almost sitting up. Unfortunately it was borrowed and has gone back to the original owners, but I really want to find a similar one for Dd2, due in March.
I mainly just pushed it around the house and garden for Dd1 to sleep in, but it was also really good to take the carrycot off and be able to take it into other peoples houses when we went for lunch etc.
Does anyone know what this model was called so I can search for it on ebay?
I will try and post a photo when I have figured out how to do it! Huge thanks

I had the same pram for my 2, it was fabulous.
Sorry I cant help, as mine was 2nd hand, so I dont know what model it was.

was it similar to this
orthis
I am sure my M&P was a primo nido, but all I can find searching for it is a toy pram.It had the mechanism you describe and was navy blue/red check pattern. My Dc's slept in the carry cot long after they should have moved into the cot.

Hi, it was more similar to the second one Christywhisty mentioned - but even more basic! It didn't turn into a pushchair, it was just a carrycot on a chassis (think it could have been the classic M&P chassis).
Thanks so much for the help, I will keep looking, and maybe bid on that second one Christywhisty, if the carrycot is as big as the one I had.

Just adding information I just remembered - it had long carry straps on either side of the carrycot which packed away into pockets on the sides! It was navy and white check

Mine was the classic chasis, it came with a carry cot, but also the pushchair part seperately, so maybe you only were given the carrycot bit.
Mine had straps that went into side pockets as well.
