Whats going wrong with my Bumgenius nappies .....?

I've been using Bumgenius nappies on my DD since she was about 12 weeks old, had a few leaks but no real problems .......... until now!!

She is now 15 months, all the poppers are popped so on biggest size, they still fit her OK as she is very slim, but they constantly leak? I try to change them at least every two hours but she has often leaked through to her clothes?

I wash them on a sixty, with Fairy?

Any suggestions on what could be going wrong as I'm thinking of giving up on them, but I do love them so!

No idea - they worked on my boy from birth to 6 weeks, but now at 11 weeks they leak out the side every time.

I think I just have a Motherease-shaped baby!

Did you accidentaly wash them with some fabric conditioner? That really buggers up the waterproofing.

have you put extra boosters in yet? If the whole nappy is wet you might need boosters, try hemp or bamboo. If they are not soaked but she is still getting wet, you may have a build up of powder problem. if so, put on for a wash with no powder and a few squirts of w.up.liquid, then keep rinsing til the bubbles go, about 6 extra rinses. hope that helps!

DS outgrew them around 14 months, but he's >90th percentile weight and height.
