Antenatal Teacher

I really want to train to be an antenatal teacher, but for various reasons don't want to do the NCT training.

Are there any other options for me?

All ideas gratefully received.

Hmm, the thing is, I think anyone can call themselves an antenatal teacher, but then, you'd have to self-promote your course etc etc. The NCT thing certainly has its problems (I used to be a volunteer course organiser). I think Mars on here runs her own antenatal courses, but she's a doula.

Mars does: her classes are Baby Moon

I also do but I only do one-one classes not groups.

We are both doulas and not NCT trained.

Hm, you could self fund the NCT Course, as it will give you a Diploma, and then , once you done it, you could set out on your own?
