Yikes - ds swallowed his tooth!

It was the front top one. I knew it was wobbly and happened to look at him while we were eating to see a big gap there, and no tooth anywhere to be found - even sieved out the rest of his soup! Poor lad was terrified, so I reassured him that a) it wouldn't hurt him and b) we would write the tooth fairy a note so she knew what happened and she would still leave his money for being so brave. She may love her job but there's no blimming way she's going to try to retrieve that particular tooth!

I think you should leave the present from the toothfairy on top of the toilet! (obviously he'd have to do a poo first)

ds did this - he was very upset as he thought the tooth fairy wouldn't come!

Lol, must be more common than I'd thought! I like the idea of leaving the money on the loo after a poo, although ds suffers from encopresis so having a poo in the loo is not always guaranteed..eek, maybe it will be easier to retrieve than I'd imagined!

Sorry, that's pretty gross I always forget other people are not as interested in my son's poo habits as I am!

We just left a letter to the tooth fairy to say sorry, but the tooth fairy wrote back saying don't worry, she was quite pleased because teeth are heavy for her to carry back to fairyland . She left the money anyway
