I had a tripp trapp with DS1. With DS2 I got an ikea one. The ikea one is much better than the tripp trapp for babies. I highly recommend it. Now that DS2 is a 2 I have got the tripp trapp out again tho.

Antilop - dd's just out of hers, and now just sits at the table on a normal chair with a couple of cushions. She's 2, and the Antilop looks good as new.

I got a mothercare cube off ebay, it's great and if I take the top part off, DS can sit at the little table next to DD, so they're at the same level

yes i agree with jasmeen that the tripp trapp has its faults at the baby stage ie lack of tray - i'd forgotten that now it's all so long ago in our house!

I've got an East Coast wooden highchair 2nd hand for DD1 which she loves - foot support gives her independence. I wouldn't fancy cleaning the webbing harness though. She is too old for a harness. Poor old DD 2 is in the cheap seat Antilop from Ikea which is dead easy to clean and portable if you are travelling by car. Its downside is that it can be tipped up esp if you are using the tray. I found DD2 tipped headfirst on to the carpet because DD1 had been swinging on the tray (thank god it was carpet, we normally feed them in the dining room which is laminate flooring ). She wasn't being naughty and it was an accident but it could have been nasty. Will look into another wooden high chair for her as she is a big lass for her age and is likely to be a bit heavy for the Antilop soon. We used to have a Mamas & Pappas Prima Pappa which was a * to clean. Being easy and very to clean is my number one priority
