Should I persevere with night training or put her back in nappies??

DD2 is 3.3, and has been dry during the day since 20 months. She was really keen to potty train and it was very easy. Lately she has been weeing in her pull ups before she goes to bed as she doesn't want to use the toilet. She obviously likes wearing her nappy but i thought as she is aware what she is doing we would try and get her dry at night. Have been trying for 9 days with no luck. She has started wetting her bed just once a night instead of twice, and last night she wet her bed at 11.30pm and wouldn't go back to her bed so i put her in with me and she was dry until morning.
She even saw me putting a pampers mat under her sheet on Tuesday and sked what it was, when I told her it was to stop her matress getting wet she said it was ok to wee in her bed then.
Should i just give in a put her back in pull ups or carry on and hope she gets the message that it's not ok to wee in her bed?

Your problem is that she is comfortable with the nappies and sees nothing wrong with it. Disposables and bedmats absorb all the urine so the child still feels dry and finds nothing wrong with wetting.

I would suggest putting her in a cloth nappy when she goes to bed. That way if she wets out of convenience the nappy won't absorb it but will feel wet and uncomfortable. If she is doing it out of lazyness she'll soon stop. If she continues to wet she is not doing it on purpose.

Not sure this will work as her sister was in reuasables and the same thing happened, but she only took a short time to work it out. Definately worth a try though, might go up to loft to pull out old nappies. Thank you for your suggestion, will see how it goes

What kind of nappies are they, pull on cloth ones or something like a disposable design or terries?

Bambino mio pre-folds and outers so will vertaily be a shock to her as she hasn't been in them since about 6 months old. Got really lazy and gave in to disposables

Good. With the pull up she can put it on herself. Hopefully if she is being lazy, suddenly finding herself lying on a baby changing mat whilst you put her into a proper nappy will have the desired effect.

I suspect she is already in bed tonight so you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Have you tried the cloth nappies yet?
How did it go?
