If you dry pail...what do you do with pooey nappies?

Do you just chuck them in the bucket as they are and wash frequently or do you have to rinse them out before you put in the bucket? I'm talking about runny newborn bf baby poo here.

I put my DS's pooey nappies straight into the wash without rinsing and they stained the rest of the nappies and prefolds. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong here...

That's what I do too but they've never put stains on un-pooed on nappies. I have two buckets, one bucket per day, they're washed once both buckets are full. First I do a cold rinse, then a 40c wash with one tablet and then sometimes I do another cold rinse depending on what I feel like.

I just chuck them in the bucket. I usually do a pre-wash or cold rinse too. I wash every two days. Sunshine while drying on the line (even winter sunshine on a dry day) has taken care of the odd stain so far.
