YES!! Rollercoaster.ie

Go straight to soap box and have a big row! see you there,

Magic mum has too many gaudy flicking things. I need two nurofen after half an hour on magic mum

I have got a lot out of the special needs board and the single parenting boards, but the chit chat and soap box boards can be a bit ferocious.

mummatoone · 21/11/2008 12:14

Thanks for this! Do you know of any "Mum type searching for job sites" in Ireland aswell?

loads. fishforjobs, gumtree.ie
I think. www.nixers.com good for stuff you can do after work or as well as your work iyswim.

just put what you would into google.ie, but click on 'pages from ireland'

Soapbox is mad on rollercoaster - scary !

TheNewsMonger · 21/11/2008 14:56

There's an 'employment' board on rollercoaster. They might be able to help. If you don't get enough replies just post it on chit-chat or miscellaneous.

I discovered rollercoaster about 4 months before i moved back to ireland and it was such a help. posters I'd never met before were downloading links to child benefit for me, so that I had all the forms ready to go the day i hit irish soil. that speeded things up. 'Loueze' and 'Kildrought' have probably saved people a forturne in solicitors' fees!

mummatoone · 22/11/2008 19:02

thanks for this keep them coming!!!

Eumom.ie is another one. And if you log onto Boards.ie there is a Parenting forum. Though I think Mumsnet is the best....

qwertpoiuy · 22/11/2008 20:32

Sorry, i'll try this link again, following the Mumsnet instruction!

Well if you are interested in slings, there's www.babywearingireland.com

Personally I prefer magicmum, but none of the sites have the footfall of a site like this. You might have to wait a day or two for some one to get back to you. Just the population.

If you are in Galway, by any chance, there's also www.mykidstime.ie

be careful of soapbox on rollercoaster! Sheesh theres some bitch slappin going on over there . Very good fun if you can take it with a truckload of salt. And there are loads of different boards within RC, a bit like this one.
I know may like magicmum but for me its a bit blah. Dullsville.
