Hi
My 3.9 year old has been out of nappies most of this year, but still had one on to do a poo and at night. Whenever we tried to get him to poo in the potty/loo he would wait until the nighttime nappy. We were waiting till we felt he was ready to come out of them at night.
He has been out of nappies for two weeks, night-times are pretty good actually, was expecting lots of wet sheets etc, but only a few.
The poo thing is awful - holds it in for as long as he can, obviously in pain, has done a few in his pants and some with me literally holding him on the potty when I know he's about to poo his pants. All very upsetting for everyone.
Hasn't done one since sunday.
Any helpful hints?
Anyone been here.
By the way, he is completely in control of his bowel/bladder.
Thanks!
