Experience of adult nursing....well...I suppose it will give you already a soubnd knowledge base of health and illness. It will have given you valuable life experience and it will have had an impact on your communication skills....you will already be familiar with basic skills like taking blood and knowing what certain bloodtests are for and you will already have aquired patient handling techniques, etc....and you will have a good knowledge of the workings within NHS and within a ward...

well, they need you because you are brilliant, I suppose
