Does anyone else have any co-parenting experience, especially with an overseas ex-partner? By co-parenting I guess I mean trying to parent more equally than most parents seem to do, in terms of childcare. Speaking personally the added complication is that x-p has moved to mainland Europe and although he comes back for about a week every month and DS (3yrs) sees him then, I'm wondering when it would be appropriate to let DS visit his dad overseas?
I am trying to gather experiences with a view to maybe writing something about it (I'm a freelance writer, but this is also for my own interest) so I'd love to hear from people in a similar boat.
