my youngest dc had terrible spots at around 12 weeks it clears up if left i think he was given some fucidin cream?? incidentally my ds has milk intolerances i dunno if it was connected tho.

I just put aqueous (sp) cream on it - went away eventually of its own accord anyway

Two of mine have had this when tiny. You just need to keep it clean and leave it. I found that mositerising the areas made the spots worse. I know it looks horrible and you want your baby to look perfect but it does not last long at all.

ALL my five had baby acne......with DD1 I put stuff on, it did nothing and eventually cleared up by the time she was 10wks.

with all the others, I did nothing, and it all cleared up by 10wks old.

she will be scrummy with clear skin again........you think, they are in lots of lovely water for so long, their skin is going to react when they come out to air and all the stuff in the air. completely normal, please don;t fret.

Dab her face with warm water. DD's actually turned into eczema and we got cream for that which cleared it all up so keep an eye on it in case it develops. Otherwise, it should clear of its own accord in a few weeks.
