Have I ruined my nappies?

I think I've put softner in with my nappies, don't remember doing it but I've taken them out and they feel all lovely and soft!.
Are they buggered? mostly bumgenius but a couple of pocket tots if that makes a difference.

Thanks Tarka. I hope so, the pocket tots are crap enough without the added softner!

was it comfort softener? That's ok in nappies as it has a clay base or something that doesn't clog the fibres.

BigBadMouse · 08/11/2008 23:46

What size are your pocket tots? They suit DS well and I'm after some - softned or not .

Only way to tell is to try one out, softener on a pocket nappy not good - they'll leak like a sieve with a big hole in straight away. A couple of washes will get the softener out though - are your inserts the same?

ragd0ll · 10/11/2008 15:07

The pocket tots are size 2. I've only had them a month and DS leaks as soon as they go on, if your interested in them let me know
I've been away for the weekend so today Im putting them all back in the machine and washing a few times hopefully that will sort them out!

BigBadMouse just looked at your profile and see your DS is only 5 months so the size 2s will probably be huge on him, they swamp my DD and she's 7 months!

He's in Medium or Medium Long (although the Med Long do come up to just under his ears ).

Where do they leak? I've had to curb my spending suddenly so may not have been able to pay what you wanted anyway
