There is a great personal statement help service that is free on TSR.

You can post your draft of your PS and a student who is already in University will have a look at it and rip it to shreds suggests ways that you can improve it.

It's a really useful service, and it helped me a lot when applying this year

I'm sure it won't be too long, they must be really busy this time of year!

Do you need to have it finished by the end of the week, or just a draft done?

Is there any particular part of it that you're stuck on? I found that trying to get across exactly why I wanted to study my subject was really difficult. Once it clicked in my head the whole thing fell into place though.... just took a while

Hm, not sure if that is any help, but you could have a look at mine. I only applied to one course at one Uni and got in with it...I am doing a degree in Occupational Therapy (only just started my first year....)...
so, if you like to have a peak e-mail me on
