Quick q before I go into town: what to put on LO's face, looks chapped?

My DD is 16mo, she is teething heavily (a couple of molars by the feel of it) had a cold, and just prone to getting a bit mucky. As a result of some or any of these things, or the weather her face is looking a bit chapped, red and rashy. It looks quite sore, I'm just wondering what to put on it as a barrier or to heal it.

Any advice?

mine's the same. i put vaseline on his chin.

wash it with warm water and cotton wool, pat dry until THOROUGHLY dry, then apply vaseline generously.

Wot smugcolditz said - can't beat it.

Brill, no need to buy anything special. I'll try the vaseline, though calendula cream sounds nice so I might have a look for that too.

Thanks

I find Magic cream by Avent works - sorry too late for your trip to town.
