Hi
My ds has recently got in with a group of children in the street who he regularly plays with I am pleased about this as he is an only and I have always had concerns that he doesn,t get enough interaction out of school with other children.
He is 7 but with the dark nights drawing in I am concerned that he isn,t going to get the opportunity to play now and he has sort of become dependant on it now.
It has also being causing me problems with him has if he gets back late from somewhere he still expects to be able to play despite that its going dark and he then he goes into a terrible mood.
How can I ensure that he doesn,t get completley bored during the winter.
Having these group of children to play with has taken alot of pressure off me as I am very shy and useless at arranging playdates from school and getting to know other moms.

Do you have any thing locally that's indoors your DS could do?

Scouts / cadets/ boys brigade / woodcraft folk / swimming / judo / football???

I sympathise as I have an only too, he is younger though so I don't have this yet!
