Why did I tell ds off before comforting him when he fell off the sofa and hurt himself?

Argh, am feeling the guilts! He was fine, but was messing around, and fell off, just missing banging his head (again!) and my initial reaction was to tell him off, but only because I love him SO much and just can't bear him to be hurt.

But isn't it weird to feel cross with him when he's done something like that?

Not sure if it's weird, but I feel like that sometimes. It's like I know DD's going to hurt herself so I feel like she should know and stop doing it. She's only 14 months though

I truly believe that anger and fear are almost the same emotion. WHen you are most frightened, you are most angry. I think it has something to do with adrenaline.

ah, that'd make sense, Mabanana
