It is me again, we have an invitation of sorts from the school about Halloween. Can you help me figure it out?

It is about Trick or Treat, and they write

We can respond:

Merci!!

So that we can organise the celebrations, we need to know who wants to go from house to house, and which parents are willing to hand out sweeties to callers. Then we will issue a list of houses accepting visits, and children taking part in T or T.

The list will be available at 4pm on Thursday from school, or on our website

YES - We will hand out sweet treats

YES - We want to take part in the Village Trick or Treat visiting

It is for who wants to go out trick or treating and who doesn't mind getting trick or treaters. First option is "yes I would like to give sweets" and the second is "yes I would like to go around the village trick or treating" The list will be available on Thursday at 4pm at school or on the website.

Ah, so it is either stay home in a warm, dry house drinking wine coffee and handing out sweeties to the other children or go out in the rain and cold with the children to others people's houses?

I wonder what I have to do to persuade the DCs to go for box one.

Thanks Marina!
