What do you think of Myleene Klass's new babywear range?

I think it's truly awful!!!!!

It's all grey and leathery and not very appealing IMO. I'm sure others could come up with far better designs / colours / styles but of course she is a sleb and that's all that matters

I think I will stick to nice colourful stripy things for my wee boy

i really dont know how i survived pregnancy and early motherhood with out myleene holding my hand and leading the way.

my poor children were just dragged up.

Ewe · 22/10/2008 18:13

She used to be in a reality tv generated band - can't even remember the name! Suzanne Shaw and Kim Marsh were in it too.

Now she models for M&S and babbles on about how hard it is working and being a Mum [yawn]. Like she has a clue!

Suedonim · 22/10/2008 18:14

A bib as fashion statement?? Lovely when it's got vomit and carrot all over it.

wasn't she the one who was a classical violinist before she went on reality tv in a bikini?

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 22/10/2008 18:15

Is it just me who gets a bit freaked out by baby things with wings? It is just a little too close to angel for comfort

Suedonim · 22/10/2008 18:20

Snap, Zombie. I find that a bit macabre, too.

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/10/2008 18:37

What a load of overpriced shite.
£10 for 4 pairs of socks - its only mothercare stuff fgs.
Or £42 for a plastic leatherette jacket.

But no doubt it will sell really well cos she is a sleb and we mortals need to be told what to wear/spend by slebs don't we?

ILickYourSlimySleeves · 22/10/2008 18:46

I've not looked at the girls stuff as I have a DS but I thought the boys stuff was hideous. And yes, overpriced.

OP posts:
Pinkglow · 24/10/2008 14:31

Some of the girl stuff is quite cute but really overpriced

ummadam · 26/10/2008 16:25

this is the only thing I even slightly like..

but if a babygro needs a hat it also needs feet!

Bumperlicious · 26/10/2008 16:33

That jacket just looks uncomfortable! Imagine being stuck in a babyseat in that .

Spidermama · 26/10/2008 16:37

I'm not even going to look. Up to now I've supported the lovely Mylene against a great tirade of critisism from other women and from my mum.

Now she's going to far. Get out of the spotlight for a while. She's too much in my life. She's doing a Vorderman, tarting around taking every single job anyone offers.

Less is more My'. Let someone else have a job.

SharkyandGeorge · 26/10/2008 16:39

I quite like some of the girls stuff (not looked at boys) Really like this

pudding25 · 26/10/2008 20:48

I have to say, I love it but it is far too pricey. Luckily my best friend's sil is a buyer at mothercare and I have got some free socks and tights. I love the leather jacket and the silky puffball dress (but I am a fashion victim who is too old, fat and poor to wear really trendy clothes so going to livr vicariously through my baby )

littlelamb · 26/10/2008 20:51

O I hate it. It is placed really prominently in our Mothercare so I see it every time I go in and I think it's just vile. I think I saw one bit of the girls stuff that was ok but the boy stuff is awful. And even if I did like it, it's got her blimming name plastered all over it

sherbetdipdab · 26/10/2008 21:02

Someone on here works in Mothercare (as a spy I think....) and she said they have to ask any customers who buy the stuff if they want the coathanger, for £2 no less!!!

babyOcho · 26/10/2008 21:07

i wish that i could exploit the fact that i had a baby, and turn it into commercial gain

LynetteScavo · 26/10/2008 21:13

but this is OK

beansontoast · 26/10/2008 21:15

you and me both sharkygeorge...the girls stuff seems ok to nice. wouldnt buy it,but it's quite nice.

i am a bit surprised that these clothes have prompted such passionate disapproval.

sazzerbear · 26/10/2008 21:21

She is soooo over-exposed, I am sick of seeing her on every goddam tv programme.
Gilet and puffball skirt for a baby, unreal!
Rant over...

?I wanted to offer mums a new range of clothes using fresh, strong colours and designs without the practical side being compromised. I would never expect mothers to put their little ones in clothes I wouldn't willingly dress Ava in and so can promise you, I have dedicated so much time, love and care to creating the perfect Babyk range with mothercare. I hope you and your babies enjoy it.? Myleene

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 26/10/2008 21:23

"The Mothercare Baby K range by Myleene has a unique handwriting, which reflects Myleene?s own sense of fun and love of fashion...."

um......does that make any sense at all? Certainly doesn't make me want to rush and out buy......

Pawslikepaddington · 26/10/2008 21:27

I

HATE

VELOUR!

Vinegar · 27/10/2008 08:23

Can't stand it and am sick of seeing her all over the place. I read one of her interviews where she says that she was tired of seeing babies in yellow and other pastel colours. She said she loved wearing her little black dress and thought her baby would like one too. I don't see why babies need to be dressed like miniature teenagers.

TskullsScreaming · 27/10/2008 08:35

I thought all this motherhood lark was too exhausting for words for her?

Well it is, but it gets more so if you try and throttle a business opportunity out of it at every turn too. So far we've had the book, the cd and now the 'range of clothes'

Is this going to go on right through? Mylene's book 'The school Run and Me'. A new cd 'Mylene's music to play whilst you comb for nits'.

misdee · 27/10/2008 08:42

i likwe this, its not pink!!

a lot of the stuff is ok for girls as its not OTT sugary pink with frills. a lot is also impractical. but is such a releif to find stuff thats not OTT pink. this is on my shopping list, must buy it soon
