Washing microterry nappies

Just a few questions -

How do people wash these nappies?
I guess non-bio detergent, but how much to use?
Which brand do you use?
Is fabric softener good of bad?
Do you tumble dry?

Thanks xxx

Is microterry microfibre?

I think washing instructions are similar regardless of the fabric. I was all nappies at 60 with about half the recommended amount of non bio (usually Tesco's own tablets).

Softener is a definite no-no as it puts a coating on the fabric and reduces its absorbency.

Tumble drying probably won't be necessary with microfibre nappies as they're very quick drying.

Cold rinse to get the worst out then any type of washing powder (bio or non-bio) at 40C for us.

Sometimes I use half dose sometime full dose - DS has a very sensitive bottom but how much I use doesn't seem to make a difference to him.

I use whatever powder is on offer at the farmers conglomerate place

Softener and tumble drying Qs already answered for you

If it turns out you mean microFLEECE nappies my answers would be the same
