DD was bought a wooden In The Night Garden puzzle. she loves it, but struggles with the more thin type puzzles. Would love to get some more wooden ones, but cant find any in the shops-any suggestions?

marks and spencers do the best puzzles. We had the same problem and even their "non-wooden" puzzles are excellent - really thick and easy to manage.

I know they aren't wooden, but some of our most loved ones were these type

Not quite the same as jigsaws, but I adore the wooden puzzles from Myriad. Not cheap, though.

Another M&S jigsaw fan here too but also Asda do some good ones. We've had wooden lift out ones and also have some simple 6 & 9 piece ones. Often get several in one box, which works out value for money. Think their brand is "Play and Learn"
