On scale of 1 - 10, how tired are you?!

I have ds (3yr8) and dd (14m) and where 0 is raring to go and 10 is nearly sleep walking, I must be about a 9 on the tiredness scale most days.

Is this normal?! I work 2 full day per week, love my kids, they are not unduly difficult and I sleep about 7- 8 hours most nights. But I could just lie down in the aisle in Tesco sometimes and go to sleep I feel so exhausted! And most days at home I do fall asleep on the bed for an hour after lunch. I am considering being tested for ME or glandular fever or something.

ive had loads of help at home for last year or two... and im still knackered all the time. i dont think you ever really catch up on 3 yrs of broekn sleep, sleeping no more than 2 hours at a stretch for months ata time.
if i were using a pre dc scale id say i was a 9 right this second. post dc my goalposts have moved and id say im a...4. i can be WAY more tired than this and still somehow be alive.

at the moment probably about an 8

I work primarily as a night nanny but at the moment I also have poorly children (my daughter was off school recovering from a hernia op and now my son has a nasty cough) so catching up on some much needed sleep just isn't happening

My children are 9, 7 and 4 and although i love them all dearly, they are hard work regardless of my working hours!

Nappies, when you say you have had loads of help at home, could you say what? Any you can share with me?!

I don't know how anyone manages to night nanny. That's amazing!

Saw doc this morning and he is happy to test bloods, but feels my tiredness is all related to my life circumstances and ?PND. DH in property, so job very stressful etc etc, as well as all usual unrelenting parenting pressures.

TBH your doc is probably right, but get the bloods done for your peace of mind
