They're the same size.

dtwins are still in their's aged 5 . Space is an issue.

Just measured dd's room she will be 4 at Xmas am starting to think maybe a single bed won't actually fit in there, with everything in the news that's going on we're stuck here for a while until things start moving again.

Any bright ideas?????

Do you mean a cot or a toddler bed? If they fit in a toddler bed i can't see why it matters but a cot would be odd for children of this age.

Argos do shorty bunk beds.

My DTs (5 also) are still in their first toddler beds. When lying down neither can touch the bottom of the bed with their feet - and they're both tall, so can't see any reason to change.

A friend of mine had a carpenter/joiner make a kind of fitted bed which which fit a strange sized room. Not sure how much that cost though.

We got a Shorty Mid Sleeper for DD1, (Argos). LOADS of room underneath for den, or storage

DD stayed in her cot with the side taken off (& a bit of strategic reinforcement) until last christmas - and she was 6 last March. Same issue - small house, she still fitted, why not . . . Now she has a bed with loads of drawers underneath which makes up for the loss of space, but it was quite expensive (can't remember how much).
