I have a huge cardboard box, could I (theoretically) make something snazzy out of it for DS?

I got a Mothercare order in today which came in a massive cardboard box. I was going to put it in the recycling bin after I had scooted DS (11 months) around the floor in it which he LOVED. But given he seems to like it more than his toys now, do you have any (easy) ideas of what to do with it? Like make it into something... but what?

Leave it as a box...he'll decide what it can be.

At a playgroup I went to last week they had made one large box into a house with a doorway and castle type wall stuck on the top, another 3 had been turned into different parts of a train with wheels stuck on. They were very popular!

We have made space rockets, ice cream vans, cars, houses, a scene for puppet show, the opportunities are endless!

Especially with poster paint from ELC.

I ordered suitcases the other day, they came in huge boxes which ds has made into a split level poo poo cave, whatever that is. just leave it as a box, he'll love it.

Wow great links thanks folks! I will have a good look through them and see what might be easy to make. Bet he'll like it more than his birthday present (that came in the box!)

DS is now the proud owner of a brand new (albeit cardboard) fire engine! All painted and everything!
