4 yo class antics

Got a meeting with my DS's teacher in a minute He has just told me that he stood on the bin at school and made faces at everyone. This being Spain I expect they were all dumbfounded. My first reaction (as a former class clown myself) was quiet amusement. Should 4 year old's be taken seriously or allowed to remain young for a while yet?

He's only 4, i think they are over reacting, should be allowed to remain young

thanks for that. I don't know what his teacher is going to say but I am guessing she won't be impressed.

turns out it's one of those elaborated stories and he was only making faces at the girl sitting next to him and the teacher thought it was quite amusing - hurray!
Why do children make up stories about naughty things they have done?!
