Actually more to the point I have 2yo ds and a 6month dd and I have found out I am pregnant. I am very happy but just a little bit shocked and wondering if i am totally mad. If anyone else has similar age gaps I would love to hear your experiences....

I am amazed by the fact that you have a 2 year old and a 6 month old and STILL manage to have sex....

Congratulations by the way.

Congratulations. You probably are a bit mad but then so are we all! I have three children and it is lovely.

Congratulations. I would love a small age gap but dp still isnt keen!

My cousin has a very small age gap between hers and they are brilliant friends x

Well done you! I have 3, DS was 2y7m DD1 was 1y7m when DD2 was born! It was crazy for the first couple of months....(still is some days!)
My youngest is now 1, they all play together, and entertain the baby! Good Luck! x

LittlePushka · 26/09/2008 23:04

17 mths between mine,...second just fit right into the current scheme!!! You got two already honey, it will be no problem,... and by time bump arrives your elsedst will be of huge assistance passing you all the gear you need and generally entertaining sister and new baby.

Thank you for all your messages you have noooo idea how helpful they are! I am mainly worried about the fact that although my ds is that bit older and knows how much we love him and how special he is dd will have only just turned 1 and might not know Still feeling spaced but I'm getting there.

I have the same gap, it is very hard at times, but also great. I think any age gap has it's positives and negatives, and it's lovely watching them play together and share a room now- mine are 2yrs 3mths and 11mths.

Hi, just seen this thread. When DD2 was born, DD1 was 4 days off being 1, DS was 6 days off being 3. They are now 12, 10 and 9. Would give my right arm to go back to those days of pushing a double buggy with him sitting on the hood of it.

They are never lonely, yes there is some rows but they are the best of friends.Have the 3 birthdays in the one week so can be quite expensive time of year.

hotmama · 27/09/2008 14:07

There is 16 months between dd1 and dd2. I am currently just over 28 weeks with ds1. DD1 will be 4 and dd2 will nearly be 3 when ds1 arrives.

We are all excited - will be lovely to have them close together.

Mind you ds1 will be the last dc!
