Is there a new Thomas the Tnak Engine Film on - or have I imagined it ????

Yes there was. At my local cinema it was a one-off showing of a new DVD coming out, so not sure if it will be shown again.

I went to see it with DS2.

The Great Discovery (narrated by Pierce Brosnan) - we have the flyer up in the kitchen. DS is obsessed - didn't realise it as a one off showing!

It as an A5 flyer, it was in the information/what's on stand in our local library.

The film (or DVD) was not the CGI version. It was Pierece Brosnan doing the voices, which I felt spoilt it a little because I am so used to the Liverpudlian accent .

However, DS2 loved it.

They seem to do the 'one-off' showings quite often now. The Ben 10 film was a one off showing at the cinema before it was broadcast several times over on Cartoon Network
